After falling sick for 3 days, I'm bursting with life again! -images of an anime character with rays of light bursting from the chest forms in my head- On high now, that I've decided to blog! Hehe. Falling sick is good.
I'm supposed to put up the pictures that I took during the Victor Harbour trip, but gah, internet's too slow! It'll kill my enthusiasm to blog by the time I try and load everything up. So anyway, the biggest highlight of the Victor Harbour trip is the T-shirt that I bought for my sweetie that says The Man (with arrow pointing up) and The Legend (with arrow pointing down). やばい!!! I laughed till I got stitches (ok, exaggerated. But it's real funny!) The other highlight was at Urimbirra Wildlife Park. I saw a male kangaroo's あそこ!!! (To make it uber obvious, kangaroo penis.) It was super erect, and I was like OMG and snapping away with my camera. So embarrassing when it started to hop towards Cherie and I with that thing swinging away. =X Will try and upload the photos later.
So yeah, school has started and it's been pretty boring apart from er.. Falling sick. Had diarrhea for 2 days, with a teeny weeny bit of vomiting on the 1st day, had headache on the 3rd day, and now I'm teeming with life. Hehe. Don't I sound hyper?
I've got my Thursdays free! Every week! Ok, maybe it's not a big deal...
So today, I went for lectures.. Just 2 hours worth of lectures! Had Chem lecture, with this arty farty guy lecturing. Haha. He's pretty cool, really. At least he doesn't bore me as compared to er... the lecturer last semester. =X
After that, I went to this Japanese class, it's not part of my module, just an external class that's catered for people who want to learn Japanese. Colloquial Japanese. It's really fun, I enjoyed myself so much! Haha. I learned something useful: まじうぜーよ. It means "really irritating/annoying" I know who I'm gonna use it on. Hehe.
Went to hunt for Keiko's birthday present after that with Kumi and Kanako, and we finally decided to buy a little pouch for her. Haha. It's related to what I saw at the wildlife park - kangaroo's scrotum! =X I sound like I'm sexually deprived. SOUND LIKE. It's just that it's so hilarious that we just have to buy it for her.
Went to Central Market, bought lemons, mandarin oranges and minced beef. Kanako and I made ice lemon tea after that, and it was SUPERB! Yep Jean, we can make it on our own too! Hee. Spent the evening at her house with Judy discussing about what we shall do for the next few weekends, since the exchange students have only one semester left in Adelaide. =( I'll miss them...

It's been a few days since I got back to Adelaide.. One semester has passed, I should have gotten used to being apart from the people back in Singapore, but after meeting up with everyone during that short 2 weeks, I really wish I could stay longer in Singapore..
I didn't tell many people about my return to sg, but my schedule was still surprisingly packed..

Arrived sg in the evening, went to DFS to buy XO for Siew and red wine and 3 bottles of Heineken for my mum.. Went to get my luggage, and I'm so delighted to see my cousin and her husband waving to me, and subsequently saw my mum, my brother, my darling, and Xueli even!
Went to Ken-san's with the intention to surprise him and have dinner at the same time, but his shop was closed! I was so terribly disappointed, and we ended up at Ichiban Sushi at Plaza Singapura for dinner. It was a great time, to be able to see my loved ones after being away from them for 5 months.

I was so tired, I almost couldn't get up to go to church. But I did anyway.. Went to PMC to visit my choir, but I didn't manage to see them. I planned to go to my grandma's church to attend service and surprise her at the same time, so I left my church pretty fast.. =(
Met up with Wilson and we attended service at my grandma's church together. After service, I waited for my grandma at the place where she usually takes her refreshments. She got such a big shock when she saw me that we all thought she was going to get a heart attack! =X Ok, I shall not do that in future.. It was pretty fun, but scary too..
We went to City Hall for lunch, and then shopped around a bit.. After that, Wilson and I sent my grandma home, while my mum and my brother headed home to prepare dinner. Wilson came over for dinner. My mum cooked unagi with omelette and onions! Yummy.. I should look around for cheap unagi in Adelaide too.. Haha..

Supposed to meet Bazang, Jace & Zuze in the morning, but it was cancelled because one of them couldn't make it.. Sorry Zuze! You can have your honey roast chicken when I come back end of the year ok! Haha. My brother didn't go to school because it was Youth Day, so we went to visit my grandma instead. Poor grandma, I think she missed me too much.. She's getting a little cranky.. ='( God, please take good care of her..

Pleasant surprise! This year, Ken (another Ken, not Ken-san) sent me a super early birthday email all the way from US, even though it's his birthday that day, not mine. Haha. He said it's because every year I'm the one who wished him first, so this year he shall be early and wish me first instead. Awwww.. Thank God for such wonderful friends!
Went to visit my grandma again, and in the evening, had dinner with sisters at Mac. The place that we used to frequent in our younger days.. Haha. Gosh, I feel old, even though I'm only 20! We had a good chat, and they said that I didn't change a single bit. Lolx. I'm glad to hear that, because I like the way I am now, and that's what my darling likes about me isn't it? Haha. It was a really great meet-up. We never fail to laugh till cheeks ache.. And Shin's really making jokes this time.. As P.O.C.S (Principal Of Clowning School), I welcome Shin to be the er... er... to join the board of directors! Woohoo!

Finally, I'm doing something about my horribly ugly decolourised tooth. I went to the dentist in the morning, and he made a mold for my new tooth. I remember how I used to hate going to the dentist when I was in primary school, because the nurses are always so fierce, and never gentle. Dr Choo is quite good, though how funny he talks to me as if talking to a primary school kid. At least I don't have to paste a "Please Be Gentle With Me" on my forehead.
Had lunch at grandma's before going home, passing Siew his XO. Nice to see my secondary schoolmate again, pity I didn't have time to go for supper with him. (More like I was too tired..)

My mum helped me make an appointment with my hairdresser at Jean Yip, and I went for my long-awaited haircut at 11am in the morning. Again, the hairdresser didn't want to cut my hair short, because she said that it's a pity that my hair's nice and straight, and I'm cutting it short! Gah, I told her I wouldn't be having my next haircut in another 1.5 years, and I would really die from having such thick and long hair if she doesn't do something about it. That really convinced her. Haha. So she thinned my hair a lot, and cut it shorter. She herself got such a shock when she saw the amount of hair on the floor! Lolx. I felt so shuang after the haircut, I called Xueli and exclaimed so loudly about how shiok it is! Yeah I got a few stares from people, but really, exhilarating!
Met up with Xueli right after my haircut to discuss the details of our birthday party. We had lunch at City Hall's Sushi Tei, sat and chatted for a long time. それから, guestbook and wrapping paper を かいました. (Ok, it says after that, bought guestbook and wrapping paper.)
Had dinner at home, and then I went to darling's house to study with him. Haha. I brought my Japanese textbooks, but ended up watching tv with his mum instead. =X But hey, I managed to revise one chapter of vocabulary ok..

Went to grandma's house for lunch again, before heading to the dentist's. He shaped my tooth, it was so short, I got such a shock! I thought he was going to let me leave without a proper tooth.. But he did. Heng ah... Haha.
Met Uncle Daniel while waiting for darling. He was so shocked! Haha. Lucky me, I always get to bump into people whom I want to meet.
We met up with my sisters and sisters' boyfriends for dinner at Suntec Marche. Family gathering! I forgot to wear black.. Darn. Haha. Quite a crazy night anyway.. (Especially when Ting and I were talking about Hard Gay.. Hahahahaha..) Bumped into Uncle Daniel again, and Daddy YingXian! -winks- See what I said about bumping into people?
The whole gang of us went to 85 market for dessert after that.. Yes, my favourite Cheng Teng! I'm glad I got a chance to have it once before I came back here to Adelaide. Hehe.

BIIIIIIIG DAY!!! Went out with darling in the afternoon to shop, before going back to my house to prepare for the party at night. Met Liesl on the way, and she came over to my house to help me with preparation. Haha. I felt so touched, that there're always so many people looking out for me! Hee.
The party was held at Condo Astoria (next to Kembangan MRT). While waiting for hte party to start, my mum and Xueli's mum were having a great time chatting. They were talking and laughing like crazy! Lolx. So rare to see our parents like that.. Quite a number of people turned up for the party! Haha.. From AHS Choir, there were Jean, Lydea, Liesl, Brian, Kenneth, Isaac and Matthew.. From TJ Choir, there were Dimpy, Bazang, Jace, Zuze, Jianing, Cailin and Kane.. Then there were Xueli's friends from SYC, and many others..
The food was pretty ok, but the highlight of the day was the cake! Andrew (Xueli's friend) bought a 3kg cake from Ritz Carlton, and it was uber sinful, omg, my mouth's starting to water again.. The cake had golden leaves on it! Haha. Xueli and I thought they were aluminium foil at first, and we wanted to take them off! Lolx. Quite suah gu. =X
Wanna thank everyone for the presents, especially Lydea and Qin's oreo cheesecake, made with love! She was super cute that day, with her new haircut and dolling herself up and all that. Haha. Mummy, I wanna bring her home....

Went to PMC for service in the morning with darling.. Met my choir (at last!), and my baby Ifa! I love her to bits.. She's still as cute as ever.. MUACKZ.
Having met so many people in church, I was late for my appointment with Camel and Sinsiu.. =X Sorry guys.. Queen must always be the last one to arrive mah, right? Haha. We had lunch at this chinese place at Marina Square's Centrestage.. I can't remember what it's called. Something Imperial.....?? It was delicious anyways. =) Thanks Camel for the treat! We went to walk around, and then went to eat the Japanese HOKKAIDO ice cream. Wahahaha. Thanks Camel for the treat again! We always exploit him.. =P But yah, he doesn't have a choice, because he's with 2 birthday girls, and he loves us too much, doesn't he? Haha.
Had to rush home for the party with my relatives, despite having such a full stomach.. My aunt cooked up a feast!! Lolx. I had fun chatting with my relatives, playing pool, eating, and taking photos of my cousin-in-law modelling with my watermelon soft toy! Haha.. Quite fun.

Went to grandma's house for lunch, before heading off to Orchard to meet my CGmates, namely Daddy YingXian, Ah Ma ChingSiang, Dearest Dear Chit Eng, Mummy Mei Ching, Aunt Clare, and not forgetting Cousin PS who came late. Haha. Daddy had braces on! Lolx. Ah Ma is still so.. Quiet. Haha. Dearest dear is still cute.. Mummy has so many hair accessories on her! I particularly liked the butterfly one. Haha. Aunt Clare is still so gentle as ever, and Cousin PS permed her hair!!!!!! I'm so happy to meet them.. Haha.
We watched Just My Luck at Plaza Singapura, hilarious. I wonder if Lindsay Lohan's voice is always so.. sexy/gruffy? Haha. After movie, PS, Mummy, Dearest Dear and I went to Ken-san's for dinner/supper. FINALLY!!! Long-awaited moment again. Haha. I slurped up everything. Hee. PS treated, as a birthday gift.. Aw.. So nice of her! I'm really lucky.. Haha.
Tuesday 11 July 06The day that I was born! And of course not forgetting Xueli and Cherie too.. My mum too the day off, we went to my grandma's place for lunch (mee suah, for er.. what? Longevity?! I think my life's good enough, no need too long a life), and then went home to pack my luggage, and then met up with my brother and darling, to send Cherie off at the airport.
Oh, and I almost forgot, many thanks to Brian Garry and Justin who sent me emails to wish me happy birthday! Nice to know how someone tried to sneak out of army just to send me an email loaded with birthday blessings. I really appreciate every single blessing dearies. =) Thanks a lot!
Went to Ken-san's place for dinner. I'M SO GLAD IT WAS OPEN!!! Haha.. I'm so addicted to his food. We had Ajitama Ramen, Hiyashi Chuka with egg, Tori Karaage, Gyoza, 2 more eggs, orenso, mentaiko and ume onigiri, kimchi and mema. Haha. BIG FEAST RIGHT.... Hee.

I met Faith, Mitchell and Mitchell colleagues for lunch at Plaza Singapura's (again...) Cartel. Faith bought me a slice of cake! Haha.. Then we went shopping, and after that I met Wilson, shopped again, before leaving to meet Jean and Xueli for dinner. Dinner was pretty good, highlight of the meal was Jean's treat.. ICE LEMON TEA!!! Something that I haven't seen any aussies sell. =( Thanks Jean, it was a great time at your place! Haha.. Go read Jean's blog about our short 45 minutes..
Went back to grandma's place, and then watched Van Helsing with my cousin and her hubby. My cousin and I were screaming like hell.. Hahahaha.. My aunt said we were so noisy, she had to close the doors. Lolx. Cousin-in-law said it wasn't scary at all, in fact he was frightened not by the movie, but by our screaming.. =X BUT I THINK IT IS REALLY SCARY LOR!!!

Sinsiu's birthday! She had a date with someone else..... Haha. I was at my grandma's house again, and then went to the dentist to get my new crown fixed. (I'm finally a true blue queen, because I have a crown now!!! Haha.) Darling waited for me at my grandma's house so we could go off for dinner together. Went to Tampines Mall's Esprit to get the Esprit bag I was eyeing for a few days, before going to Simpang Bedok to have dinner. Haha.

Went to darling's house, wanted to watch Jerry Maguire, but it turned out that I haven't finished downloading it! =X So paiseh..... We ended up playing computer games instead, while the air-con man came to fix new air-cons in his house..
We had lunch at my place, my mum cooked unagi again. Haha. And then it was packing and packing...
Left for the airport to have dinner there.. A lot of people to send me off again.. =P Grandma was there, along with aunt, cousin, cousin's hubby, mum, brother, darling, shin and xueli. Haha. Got an angbao from Shin (representative of the jies) and Xueli gave me a moisturizing body wash! Haha.. So sweet.. Guess I must have complained too much about my dry skin when I'm over here.. =X
