I just came back from the trip to Ayers Rock a few days ago, and it's really exhausting man. Details of the trip will come up within the next few posts I hope.. Still trying to collect the photos from the rest of the people. Keep your eyes on this page for the mega-post!

The trip was great, of course. Wonderful experience! The flies were irritating, but I love it there. Haha. Went clubbing for the first time there as well, at the club just next to the hostel that we slept over for 2 nights. Literally dancing on the tables. =X Tried kangaroo meat for the first time too! Ate a lot there.. And......... I gained weight. =( Oh well..

So anyway, a very scary thing happened to me for the first time since I came to Adelaide. I didn't know I have a mid-semester exam for Japanese module, until like the day before. I totally freaked myself out man. I woke up at noon on Anzac Day (Tuesday), and thankfully it's a holiday. Happily thinking to myself that I have the whole afternoon to wash clothes and pack my room, I checked my uni email and read about the mid-sem exam. I thought it was refering to the exams in June, so I read it to see if it says when exams are ending, so I can book my air ticket.

The date on the email says April 26, so I thought to myself: April? When's April? Oh!! It's this month! What's today's date? -flips my diary- Today's Anzac Day, it says 25th April.. Eh.. 25th, so 26th is tomorrow......... OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!! I was literally screaming in my room. Sigh. I started mugging for it until 10pm, and I decided I was too tired, and I went to sleep. =X It turned out that the exam wasn't too difficult, since I did prepare for my previous tests very well. Got back the results for my Kanji/Vocab test, and I guess I did pretty well. It was stupid though, because I wrote "computer" wrongly in katakana, if not I would have gotten full marks.

Philosophy is a big problem for me now.. We've moved on to Legal Reasoning. ALAMAK.. Machiam studying law.. I can't catch what the teacher's saying, and it makes me sleepy and I tend to want to doze off. =X I need help.....

Went to my friend's hostel just now, and we were watching Rabbit-Proof Fence. It's this movie about Aboriginal people, how the half-caste children will be taken away by the white people and all that.. Good show. Go look for it!

I'm fat now. I need to lose weight.. -paces up and down-

More work to do.. Sian. Remember to lookout for my mega-post!

Was doing Philosophy tutorial just now, and I came across this particular question that made me laugh:

An association of lecturers interested in critical thinking suggested the following exercise. Listen to radio talk shows – one in particular was mentioned – and look for instances of fallacies such as ad hominem, guilt by association, distortion etc. The talk show host denied the charge: “Who are these people? They talk to maybe 30 students at a time. I talk to 5 million people every day. They could not begin to do what I do. They are just gnats flying around getting in the way.”

Mainly, the tutorial question was refering to my lecturers themselves. Haha. So funny how they set a question about themselves. Lolx.

I've had a packed weekend, that I didn't have time to reply emails and chat with people..

Friday was a crazy day, because I met up with my friends to pay for the rest of the money for our trip, then went to a housewarming party at night. It's quite a crazy night, because we drank a lot.. Never drank so much in my life I think. =X I glupped down about a quarter of the Jacob's Creek Riesling white wine, and actually started feeling a bit groggy.. Decided that I'm gonna get drunk if I drink more, so I sat down and ate stuff.. There's sushi!!! Muahaha. Got up and continued drinking and chatting with my friends.. Drank a cup of Sake, some Heineken beer, some Tasmanian beer, Draught and I don't know what else I drank.. =X We got quite high, but thankfully not drunk.. We started dancing - formed a circle, and started going "Ring-a-ring o'rosies, a pocket full of posies, 'A-tishoo! A-tishoo!' We all fall down!"

Full of crap.. But it was fun. Maybe I'll post some pictures up when I've time. And if possible, the video of our dance that I used my camera to record. Haha.

Saturday morning, my dabian was a little greenish. =X But I'm ok now, no worries.. Was studying in the morning, and went to North Adelaide in the afternoon with my friends. It's a beautiful place! I love it. Hee. Maybe we can stay there next year, jie. Had a good walk, though it was quite cold.. Came back to study more, till about 1am! Quite productive though, I'm glad I've got people to mug with. :D

The next day went to church, came back and slept through the afternoon.. Mugged the whole night for my Kanji test today.. Glad it went well.. Had a long day, so too tired to blog.. Watch this space for photos!!!
