1. I bought a new laptop! Brand: ASUS. Price: SGD 2150.00. Details: Lightweight, pearl white, pretty good specs, tough, etc. My dream laptop! It's rather like the iBook, which makes me like it even more. Hehe. I got it at a really good price (saved almost SGD 350.00!)

2. Bought a webcam as well. No need to describe much about it.. People who have webcam can just lemme know lor.. Can try it out. Having fun playing with it now.. Haha.

3. I bought 2 bags from the Metro sale just now! Quite a waste of money maybe, but somehow I'm sure it'll come in handy soon. Hehe.

Hope everyone out there had a great Christmas.. New Year's coming, I wanna be crazy and party!! :D The next 2 on my list of to-buy things is handphone and camera. Haven't really decided on what phone I want yet.. For cam, most likely getting a Canon IXUS 55. Wanted the Panasonic Lumix FX9, but it's more expensive. Oh well. Anybody wanna sponsor me?

Last weekend was really packed with activities. Friday was almost a slack day, because everyone's in a party mood, or at least that's the case for those around/not on leave. My mum booked a hotel room at Grand Central, near Ken-san's noodle house. We had a mini celebration there with my relatives.

12 people!!! All in one room. Haha. Imagine how packed it was. We had great dinner, proudly brought to us by Yiyi. After having a little fun, singing, etc, the younger generation went to the movies to watch Narnia - The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. :D How cool is that? Hehe. If I have a chance, I'd post the photo that we all took under the nicely decorated tree near Plaza Singapura.

We had supper at Ken-san's place after that. Could feel myself getting fat with all the binging from suppers. =X Walked around a bit, before we went back to the hotel.

Next day, we sat around and chatted till noon before we left. Afternoon's activity was to shop for Christmas presents for my mum and my brother. Wilson and I went to Parkway to do the shopping. Got a nice comfy purple shawl for my mum, a pouch for my brother.

Went to City Harvest @ EXPO after the shopping. Watched the drama. CUTE!!! Haha. Quite touching story.. Felt some sort of connected to the drama. Oh well, only those who went might know what I am talking about.

Sunday is CHRISTMAS DAY!! Went to church for service, then left for Funan after that to hunt for a laptop. Spent the whole afternoon there, but couldn't really decide on what I wanted. Had dinner with Mum, brother, Wilson at Simpang Bedok - cheese prata with Milo dinosaur! Whee... Sinful. =X Merry merry Christmas..

Monday again, went to hunt for laptop. At Sim Lim this time though. Found what I wanted, at such a cheap price, after so long! Happy of course, very happy with my buy. Muahaha. Had dinner at 85 market with the same bunch of people. Merry merry Christmas Day 2..

Had to work on Christmas Day 3, but heck la. Everyone's not around. Things can go on a slower pace. Got some time for me to dabian also. Haha.

Merry Christmas Day 4! I went to Metro sale! Wheeeee... Spent about 55 bucks! Haha. Not a lot la hor.

Merry Christmas Day 5! Where are my golden rings?! In the pawnshop, my lover says. Ok lor..... Go to dreamland and dig for them. Good night folks!

OOOOOOPPSSS... I haven't blogged for.. almost 2 months!!! =X Uh.. Same old thing.. Really very busy.. A lot of things happened lately.. A lot of events also.. Happy or sad, life still goes on huh? Hope all my friends out there are going on fine..

Working life is crazy.. What I learn most is, push all the blame to others if possible.. Tough job, really shitty. But I cannot just quit now, because it's a critical period, until they get a new clerk to take over me when I'm gone for studies..

Anyway.. I'm gonna invest on a camera soon.. Hunting around for a good buy.. Haven't decided what brand/model I'm gonna get yet though. Any suggestion from you guys? Eh, think no point asking, because my readers probably deleted my link off their list already. Haha. Just blabbering to myself.. Also, I need to change my hp soon.. It's so gonna die on me, and I better sell it of before it's too late. Hehe. Most likely getting Sony Ericsson again, but I so happen to like the newer ones, which are the more expensive ones! So.. Again I'll have to hunt around either for good buys, or other cheaper handphones. Ken-san bought the orange Sony Ericsson phone, just because I told him Sony Ericsson phones are good. Haha. Feels good to know that there are people who take your word seriously. He probably could tell too, from the way I keep dropping my phone and yet still able to use it till now. Haha. His motorola super slim flip phone, broke after using for a few days. Haha.

Main events that happened the past 2 months: Cousin's wedding on 19th Nov and Church choir camp last weekend at Malaysia's The Legends Resort and Golf Club.

Cousin's wedding was superb, everything went so smoothly that we all were really grateful to God for being so faithful to us, and for answering our prayers. That week was a rainy week almost everyday, except on my cousin's big day. I remember I was so excited, that I slept at 11pm, woke up at 1am to pee and thought that it's time to get up, when I should only be awake at 5am. Haha. Machiam my wedding like that. Oh but when you're so involved in weddings like how I was with my cousin's, you'd definitely start fantasizing about your own's too. Haha. My first step to getting myself prepared for my own wedding: lose weight. =P Don't tell me things like "You don't need to la...." I know where I should shed a bit of weight..

Back to the topic of my cousin's wedding. Yup, so everything was going smoothly, until we came to the part where we were going for outdoor photo shoot. SHOOT!!!!! The day was really so popular, we could see so many wedding couples taking photo shoot at the same place!!! Gasp. Thank goodness the weather was perfect - cloudy, not too hot, not rainy either. =) But poor bride's maid (that would be me), gotta keep trailing after the excited bride, trying to help the bride hold up the gown. Haha. Fun though, fun. The photographer took a lot of photos, and kept trying to matchmake me and the best man. Bleah. I know how to choose my own man lor. Hmph. Oh, and I think I had too heavy a breakfast, and because the gown so tight, I puked! =X Other than that, everything was great. Simply wonderful.

So exhausted that night, we all slept in the spare hotel room at Marina Mandarin. Smart me, I rushed to bathe first, and I got to sleep on the nice cosy bed. Muahaha. Imagine, 8 people in a room! Half of the people on the bed, the other half on the floor. Haha. Very comfy, except that it was a little too cold. Everything ended well I suppose, though when we were about to leave the hotel, I felt a bit sad, because I felt as though I've just lost a sister. But.. I wish her a blissful marriage anyway. I know they will be happy together. =)

The choir camp was a combined trip with Toa Payoh Methodist church choir to The Legends in Malaysia, Johor - Kulai if I'm not wrong. It was fun to be with my choir friends. Wacky bunch! We gathered at TPMC to wait for the coach to send us to our destination. The place was quite nice, near-to-the-nature feel. Problem is, too near, many insects crawling around. There was even a slug in the toilet. OH!!! The toilet! The toilet's very special, mind you. The shower place is like a small garden, where about two-thirds of the shower floor are filled with pebbles, then there are big ceramic steps staggered in a line, like stepping stones. That's the part where you stand to shower. And then at a side, there will be a small waist high pillar where you can put your soap and stuff. CUTE!!! The remaining one-third of the shower place is where there are plants and stuff, very I'm-bathing-in-the-garden feel. Fun! Haha. Man, I sound like an exhibitionist. =X Anyway, a not-so-good point would be, the roof of the shower is.. Not covered. Not exactly la. There's a plastic board to cover part of the roof. So when it rains, or even if it doesn't rain, insects could just happily fall in and bathe with us. Eew huh.

Food there wasn't all-so-fantastic, but what more can we ask for? We only paid $110 for the 2 nights stay there. Actually, everything's inclusive in the $110 already. Even cheaper than renting a chalet at Sentosa. We had a lot of fun, definitely. I cannot really remember the first day though. Very bad memory. Haha. Fell sick when I was there.. Guess the place was too dusty, sneezed a lot. Poor nose, too sensitive. Had some pills, but not of much use. Till now, still having a bit of the mucus stuck between nose & throat area. Had a lot of fun, and not much of the workshop part because the workshop is mainly for the TPMC people. We did practise though, sang our January anthem a few times. Hehe. We were very high, singing carols all over the place! Reminded me of my europe trip a little.. -Happy sigh- Nostalgic yi xia.

Saturday morning was slacking time, where my choir friends were having fun dying hair. Haha. I slept a lot, because I was sick. Not like I wanna dye my hair anyway. In the afternoon, we went to swim and play pool. I didn't bring my swim suit with me, in the end borrowed my friend's bikini which she brought in case she didn't feel like wearing her swim suit. So paiseh for being so flabby, but I'm glad they didn't mind about me. Haha. We did funny stuff in the pool - aqua aerobics!!! Our conductress, Dora, attended aqua aerobic lessons for quite some time. We did a bit of them, woah quite exhausting! We were like crazy, having competitions in the small pool. Losers gotta treat Magnum Almond!!! Freak out sia, so I did all those movements real fast. Haha. We even competed how far we could swim in one breath. Lol. Exciting exciting! We sang carols in the pool too. Haha. That's how choirs should behave, isn't it? Hee hee. Later on, we went to the jacuzzi. WAHH!!!! Super hot! But very very shiok.. Too bad we didn't have enough time for steam bath, because we had to rush up for photo-taking. Haha. Imagine, we wearing our clothes over the wet swimwear to take photos!

Played a few games of pool, and yeah! I won all 3 games! Woohoo.. Boost morale leh. I wanna play more.. We played Rummy-O too.. Chim game.. Thanks to beginner's luck, I won the game! :D On Sunday morning, we went to this Wesley church in Johor.. Sang a song for them.. Quite sian seriously.. The sermon is WAY TOO LONG!!! Imagine a service that is 2.5 hours long. Poor Teresa & friends. Almost nodding off to sleep, seriously. Anyway, I got my friend to braid my hair for me.. Hee hee. I was so happy! I grew my hair for such a long time, but till then nobody could braid my hair for me. I told myself that I must at least braid my hair once, before I go and cut my hair short. I'm satisfied.. =)

Came back to SG, had lunch with my choirmates. Dora's treat!!! Aw...... So nice of her! We had chicken rice balls. Whee, my first time eating it! Really very interesting, although I would still say I prefer the non-compacted chicken rice. That place is quite famous for its chicken rice I heard. Really yummy. -rubs stomach-

Went to hunt around for cameras with Wilson after that. Though I was zombie-fied already, but I die die still wanna go shop shop. Haha. Really almost died. No la, I only dozed off on the couch at Funan. =X No xing2 xiang4 hor? Paiseh. Then so tired, no energy to rack my brains over what brands to choose also. Waste time ah. Haha.

So.. That was about it. No point talking about work stuff la huh. It bores everyone. Just like how guys keep talking about NS bores me. *yawnz* Oh, time to sleep.. Gotta work at noodle house tomorrow. I'll try to update this again soon! As often as I can, before I leave. Hee. Do continue to tag my tagboard, if there're still people reading this! Cheers.
